How do I Create an RSS Feed to the table of contents in an Online Journal?

The best way to create an RSS feed to the table of contents in an online journal or to new journal title lists in the online databases is to use the built in RSS reader in the default browser on your computer or laptop. This is because in many instances RSS feed aggregators such as Google Reader or Bloglines do not support access to subscription databases or e-journals.

Click on the RSS reader icon associated with the journal of interest or the new journal titles list, or alternatively click on the RSS feed icon that displays in your browser and follow the prompts to 'subscribe' to the feed.

The feed will then display in your browser, adjacent to Favourites in Internet Explorer or within the Bookmarks menu or on the toolbar in Firefox, depending on which option you select.
